Gaveston - Day 2

Since Diana and I had so much fun with Robin and family at the beach, we decided to go back for some more fun. I checked the weather report for the day and we were scheduled for clear weather for 3 hours in the morning. Diana and I left early and 10 minutes from Galveston we started getting rained on. We thought that it would pass by us and that once we got to the beach we would see nice, clear skies. Boy were we wrong. We were in Galveston for about 3 hours and we spent about 2 hours in the car waiting the weather out. We spent the majority of our time in the car watching the hurricane type rain with the hopes that it would clear up. Once the rain stopped, we quickly got out and spent about 45 minutes at the beach before it started raining again. I was the only one who got in the water because the waves were 4-5 feet high. Not a great time at the beach but we will definitely remember it.

To add to our troubles, Diana decided to throw food in the air for the seagulls to eat. Within 2 seconds, I was pooped on! At first I thought it was rain again but I wasn't that lucky.

It was definitely not a smooth day for us. Diana bit her lip so hard that it bleed for a couple minutes. That didn't stop her from eating though! :)

Here's Part 2. To add to our worries, our car started to leak from the top of our windshield. It was a good thing we were in our car when it started because it would have leaked into our stereo if we didn't catch it. Luckily we had a water bottle to catch the water.
