We're adults!

It's hard to believe but we are on the verge of ending our first year as teachers. It seems crazy how fast it went and how much our lives have changed in the process. Things have changed so much since we graduated just a year ago. Diana and I are about to turn 24 in the next couple months, we have professional jobs (at least for now), and we are about to become parents. Diana and I got to experience so many wonderful things here in Houston that we would have never been able to if we hadn't moved. Although we are happy that we are moving back to New Mexico, it will be a bit sad leaving. We will definitely leave with some life-long memories.

Personally, I was able to see my favorite basketball team play, I got to watch the Sweet Sixteen, a NBA playoff game, see alligators up close and personal, spend time at the beach, go to Sea World, eat some amazing food, get to know 10 great people in my department, teach and reach 150 teenagers, and find out that I am going to be a Dad! Those are just some of the small things that I will always remember. My favorite number has always been the number 23 and I always thought that my 23rd year would be rememerable. I have to say that my 23rd year in this world has been unforgettable!
